Jaishree, his wife confirmed of Sriram's demise a month ago, after his very bravely fighting cancer for two years.
Athri was very active in conducting personality development seminars which he continued doing until the time his health permitted.
The family and the family doctor were tracking the advancement of the cancer and were dreading the physical pain and the cruel suffering this disease inflicts patients in the terminal stages.
Sriram was cheerful until the last day and never let the family suffer witnessing his succumbing to pain and debility.
While I grieve my friend's death, I take comfort that Sriram lived a graceful life and did show us a model of a graceful departure.
